Solo is a different information game

Solo players have no teammate to cover a reset, revive a mistake, or carry a second angle. In return, you can move quietly, change direction quickly, and choose fights on your own terms.

Make your route simple enough that you know what a safe extraction looks like before you find valuable loot. The more value you carry, the less useful a coin-flip fight becomes.

Set a lower threshold for leaving

A solo run does not need a highlight-reel finish. Establish a point at which you are willing to extract, then honor it unless you have a clear tactical reason to stay. This protects your learning economy and gives you more attempts to improve.

Pick tools that create space

When comparing classes and builds for solo play, prioritize clarity, survivability, and the ability to reset. A high-ceiling damage setup can work, but only if you can explain how it gets you out after the first exchange.
