Mistfall Hunter Patch Notes

Update log as of August 23, 2026

The latest checked gameplay update is the August 19, 2026 Live Update. It adds a refresh mechanic for Scavenger Squad materials after a task is completed and rewards are claimed, gives hunters a brief invulnerability window when entering a Mist Lord room, improves selected text and controller interactions, and adds server monitoring for performance-heavy refresh actions.

• Mercenary: several defensive, stagger, cooldown, hitbox, and PvP values were adjusted.
• Withered Knight: movement, attack feel, Super Armor, projectile behavior, dodge-distance effects, and cooldowns were adjusted.
• Shadowstrix: Free Movement timing, invincibility frames, Super Armor, Blade Dance interruption, and aerial heavy-strike behavior were fixed or adjusted.
• Sorcerer and Seer: specific post-revive and Super Armor interaction bugs were fixed.

Separate policy updates from balance patches

The August 21 Fair Play Penalty Announcement describes matchmaking suspensions for frequent temporary teaming and permanent bans for cheating. Treat it as a rules and reporting update rather than evidence that a class, weapon, or build changed. Check the official announcement feed for the full policy wording before reporting a match.

Earlier Soul Harvest context

The August 12 Live Update introduced Soul Harvest and a new Fate Chart stage. It remains relevant when a guide discusses that activity, but it is no longer the newest gameplay update. Open the official announcements feed before changing a build in case a newer post has replaced this snapshot.

Read patch notes with a build in hand

Do not skim only the largest numbers. Read changes that touch your class abilities, core weapon pattern, defensive tools, healing, progression, and the situations where your build normally extracts or fails.

Then decide whether the update changes your goal, your gear, or only a minor preference. This avoids rebuilding a working loadout because of an unrelated change.

Every future build page on this site should show the patch it was checked against. That single habit makes a guide more useful than a large archive of undated recommendations.

After a patch

Test one changed interaction in lower-risk runs, compare your result with the written notes, and only then change the rest of your loadout. Official notes explain intent; actual play tells you how that intent feels in your route and squad.
